About Me

Don Cooper, Realtor

Real Estate has been a part of my life from an early age. My family owned and operated rental properties in Philadelphia. Growing up, real estate was discussed nightly and I was instilled with a passion for it. I attended the University of Pennsylvania and received multiple degrees in Civil & Urban Engineering. I found that selling real estate was more interesting than civil engineering, and my engineering augmented my realtor skills in areas such as 1) analyze and evaluate home construction and design; 2) interact with builders and contractors; 3) analyze real estate investments; 4) assess market conditions and trends, and 5) home pricing and marketing strategy.

After college, I moved to Virginia and began my sales career at Shannon & Luchs Realty in McLean and later, I worked for Century 21 in Falls Church. The market conditions were similar to today's...rising mortgage rates, short home supply and homes selling slowly. I benefited from this period and developed extensive experience in home preparation, sales and marketing, creative financing, and buyer resistance.

Subsequently, I pursued business systems development expanding my skills in project management, contracts, negotiations, leadership and customer service. Also, I continued my passion for real estate renovating properties. and buying and selling homes and investment properties.

What sets me apart from other realtors is my 100% dedication to my clients' needs and wants, commitment to excellence, and teamwork. I strive to provide a transparent and clear marketing strategy and sale.
